How to add Patriotic Decor to Your Everyday Decor

I’m really enjoying how our house is styled these days. I usually change everything up for all the holidays, but this year I wanted to keep things simple. I’ll show you some simple ways you can incorporate patriotic decor into your everyday decor. Let me know in the comments which ones are your favorite! Art

A super easy way to change up your decor for any season, is to change up the artwork. I love finding downloadable art on Etsy. I absolutely love this print and this print for the patriotic holidays.

Linens

You can easily add some pops of Red, White, and Blue with linens. Add a red throw blanket to your chair or sofa. Or layer all three on your bed. You can add a red velvet pillow and a blue stripe pillow to an entry bench. Or be bold and use flag printed throws, or pillows. The best part about using red linens, is that you can use them again for Christmas! I love this red velvet pillow cover!

Books

I love books! I love to collect books! I love to decorate with books! Give me all the books! 😂 I have several red and blue books that I keep for Patriotic Decor. I like to add them to my bookshelves that are filled with (mostly) white books for some patriotic pops. Find some vintage books here.

Flags

Okay, let’s get right down to it….Our flag is the star for the Fourth of July, right? I love our beautiful flag. The simplest thing you can do for patriotic decor is hang our flag on the outside of your home! You can also add a few small flags here and there. I like to add flags in jars, crocks, vases, you name it! I have a vintage flag that my husband framed that I use on our mantel. I absolutely love it!
