I love Christmas and all the yummy treats! One tradition that we do is Hot Chocolate on Christmas Eve. I love chocolate, so what could be better than warm chocolate covered with whipped cream? I think to make hot chocolate special for Christmas, it’s fun to add a little something. I’m going to share my Peppermint Candy Cane Hot Chocolate with you! It’s so easy and so delicious! So, let’s get to it!
4 cups of milk
2 Peppermint Bark bars
Toppings of choice
Stir the milk and chocolate over medium-low heat until all the chocolate dissolves. Don’t let the mixture boil or burn. Remove from heat and pour into mugs. Serve with your favorite toppings: whipped cream, candy canes, marshmallows.
I created a small hot chocolate charcuterie board full of goodies! I found stuffed marshmallows and pirouline cookies for a little something extra. Top the hot chocolate with whipped cream and crushed candy canes for some extra sweetness and peppermint. This is the perfect drink for Christmas Eve, but really any time this Christmas Season.
