Mezzetta Makes it Betta!

Hi Friends! I’m bringing you a little something different today. I’m so excited to share with you a fast and easy recipe perfect for your intimate holiday gathering. You can actually make this as large or small as you need. It’s one of my favorite things to make because it’s so easy! Have you heard of the Mississippi Mud Roast? It’s so easy and so flavorful! I love using pepperoncini peppers from Mezzetta. They really add a big flavor to the dish and just a touch of heat (more peppers equals more heat). That nice pop of green is perfect for the holidays. 🎄 I love so many products from Mezzetta because they are a trusted family company and they have so many different options. I prefer to use quality ingredients in the food that I serve my family and I know they are getting a good meal when I include products from Mezzetta. Even the pepperoncini peppers have different options: whole peppers and sliced peppers. I used the whole Mezzetta Pepperoncini peppers for this recipe, but I’m excited to try the slice Mezzetta Pepperoncini peppers for pulled beef sandwiches in the future.
First, you’re going to choose a nice piece of meat. I used a 4-5 pound round roast. You can also use chuck or any other type of beef roast.
Then, we’re going to add our dry packets….ranch dressing and onion soup mix….
Then, place the whole stick of butter on top of the roast….Yum! Who doesn’t love butter?!
Now, add about 5-8 Mezzetta Pepperoncini Peppers (you can add more or less, whatever you like!) Splash in a little Mezzetta pepperoncini juice as well. (I didn’t get a pic of everything in the crockpot…but there really is no right or wrong way to put it all in there.)
You’re going to cook for about 6-10 hours depending on if you use low or high and if your meat is frozen. I love a recipe where you can dump the ingredients and then leave it! I whipped up some Maple Glazed Carrots and Mashed Potatoes to go along with this Holiday dish. I garnished the meat with fresh Rosemary for a festive look!

Jazz up your beef roast with Mezzetta Pepperoncini Peppers for a festive Holiday Dish
*Place Roast in Crock Pot
*Add dry packets
*Place stick of butter on top of Roast
*Add 5-8 (or however many you want) Mezzetta Pepperoncini Peppers around the roast
*Add pepperoncini juice....as much as you want
*Cook on low for 6-8hrs or on high if using frozen meat
*Garnish with Fresh Rosemary for a festive holiday dish!
