It’s that time again for another Mood Board Monday. I was inspired by my own bedroom refresh to create a Master Bedroom Mood Board. I’m really loving the modern traditional look, these days…. with a sprinkle of cottage. So, let’s get to it!

Modern Traditional

What is Modern Traditional? It’s a mix of Modern and Traditional elements…which makes it timeless! This style gives you the sleek modern lines with more traditional furniture and finishes. I love how this style balances masculine with feminine, luxury with comfort, and antiques with new pieces.

Mood Board

I really love this master bedroom! I have been dreaming of a black metal and upholstered canopy bed. The one that I’ve had my eye on has been sold out forever. I love the elegant vibes of the molding and the chandelier. The bed and lamp feel more modern to me, while the nightstand and dresser is more traditional. The rug gives just enough vintage to the space. And yes, I added the kitty. He’s so cute! 😻

Conclusion

This mood board had mostly more expensive items. I think I’m going to start doing splurge vs save options. So, I’ll create a similar room using expensive items and also more affordable items. I’ve been mixing in a few more “expensive” items with my affordable and thrifted finds. I think this practice helps create an eclectic look.
