Hi there Friend! I’m going to share some simple and easy ideas for your coffee table. I don’t think you need to go out and buy a ton of new things every time you want to change up a space. So, what I like to do is shop my home! You’ll want to gather a bunch of items together and then you can decide on the combo that you want to use. Check out my reel here and my story here.
The Most Common Items Used
- Some kind of greenery (faux or real) or flowers
- Books-you can use vintage or new coffee table books
- Candle(s)
- Tray or basket
- Some kind of decorative object
- Bowl or vessel
You do not need to use all these items. I like to use a grouping of three. Or a triangle shape. Books can be left open or used as risers to give more height. I’m going to be using our round coffee table, styling a square coffee table could be similar. Styling a rectangle coffee table may look a little different as you have more real estate to cover. So, let’s get started!

I hope this gives you some inspiration for your own space. I shopped my home to find all these items. You don’t have to go out and buy new things every time you want a new look or for each season. I always shop my home first. Maybe that’s why I’m somewhat of a hoarder. 😂
