Last year, I veered away from traditional colors and did pink as my main color for all the Christmas décor. I love how the fireplace turned out. Simple and elegant.
A simple cedar (faux) garland, pink satin ribbon, cozy stockings, and lots of candles makes a simple and beautiful statement.
Here we have 2 different looks. I used a gold antique inspired mirror last year. And the year before, I used more traditional colors and a large sign.
A few years ago I used several trees in our living room and I used mostly red, a very traditional Christmas color. To continue with the traditional look, a flocked garland and cozy stockings were hung on the mantel.
This year, I've been thinking of veering away from traditional Christmas colors again....I'm thinking of using pink, red, and aqua for a vintage Christmas.
